Vinh Tan International Port is the first deep water port complex of Binh Thuan province, considered as a trade gateway, and to connect regions of Binh Thuan province and the vicinity. The port is only 7km far from Tuy Phong Industrial Zone (IZ) along the Highway 1A. With the advantage of a geographical location, Vinh Tan Port shortens hundreds of km road transportation and replaces by sea transportation.

Vinh Tan port and Vantage Logistics jointly set up Vinh Tan Logistics Joint Stock Company (VTLC), providing international multimodal transport services, freight transportation, customs brokerage, warehousing, distribution,… to import-export enterprises in Binh Thuan, South Central Coast, and Central Highlands. VTLC provides solutions to optimize cost and transit time that benefiting to business in Binh Thuan, the South Central region and the Central Highlands.

Modern equipment, high operating capacity

Vinh Tan port invests in new technology loading and unloading equipment such as: inverter electric cranes; the EU-emission standard transport fleet. Vinh Tan Port keeps upgrading equipment to serve the high demand of cargo and vessel handling.
In 2021, the port handled  upto millions tons of cargo. The export commodities are diverse:  construction stone, seafood, fruit, fly ash from Vinh Tan Thermal Power Center, woodchip, goods from industrial zones in Phan Thiet… Import commodities includes construction materials, equipment for solar and wind power plants… According to the statistics, Binh Thuan province has dozens of licensed projects and that number keeps increasing.

Forming a unified logistics chain

VTLC has linked along the key infrastructure projects such as Vinh Tan International Port, Phan Thiet airport, national highway 1A, North-South Expressway … to form a unified logistics chain among investment, construction, production and business development, and cargo communication. The successful cooperation between Tuy Phong Industrial Zone and Vinh Tan International Port in general, and with VTLC in particular, will contribute to opening up many investment, development and logistics services opportunities for businesses not only in Binh Thuan but also other localities in the region.
