Globalization leads to more and more trade opportunities and trade movements among countries. This requires high attention to cargo security.
What is the C-TPAT in cargo security?
The C-TPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) Standard is an initiative of the US Government and businesses launched in 2001 right after 9/11 to build partnerships to strengthen and improve the international supply chain security in general and US border security in particular.
Through this program, the US Customs Border Protection (CBP) requires businesses to ensure the implementation of all security practices in operating and communicating, and verifying the security practices of its business partners in the supply chain.
Vantage’s CTPAT certification will help its customers and partners partially improve their supply chain, especially in delivering goods to / or transporting goods in the US.
