Effective Feb. 01st 2016, The Government of Brazil applies new legal requirements on wooden packages.
Cargo in scope of the rule:
All import and export cargoes with packages made of wood materials of any kind, involving or used on cargo stuffing.
What will be required?
The wood package will must be properly treated before exported to Brazil. It will be required IPPC stamp on the wood packages by countries members of NIMF 15, as below template:

If the origin country is not a member of NIMF 15, it will be required a Phytosanitary Certificate, than must be sanctioned by the National Organization for Plant Protection. If the above instructions are not followed, the cargo will return to the origin country and there will be a high penalty to be paid in Brazil.
