Safe Transport of Transit Shipments for Renewable Energy Plant Project in Laos

During the complicated period of Covid-19 pandemic, all activities related to import, export and transport of goods faced many difficulties. However, with the professionalism and spirit of “our customers ‘success is our success”, Vantage Logistics’ Project Department has continued to safely transport a shipment for a renewable energy project in Laos.

– Vantage’ scope: advising customers to complete the B/L in accordance with transit procedures in Vietnam, as well as applying HS codes to the actual situation of goods. Implementing customs clearance procedures for goods in transit at Hai Phong port and Cau Treo border gate, in-land transported from Hai Phong port to Nam Phao Checkpoint, Laos

– Shipment time: 27/03 – 08/04/2020

It is noteworthy that, although the consignment was transported during the border-gate period forcing people passing through the border to quarantine for 14 days to prevent Covid-19 pandemic, Vantage found a solution of substitution the driver at the checkpoint to transport goods to the border gate as quickly as possible and avoid incurring storage charges for customers.
