Since the cargo was in the port’s warehouse, all moving activities must be exclusively done by the port team; however, due to some objective issues between the shipper and port management board, the port team do not accept to move cargo, which resulted high possibility of delaying in shipping schedule and generating storage fees. Because of problems arising at the end of working day, while the loading time was at 8PM on the same day, Vantage had to race against time, took advantage of all relationships to help, push, and proactively involve in negotiation to clear the issue, which was finally cleared at “minute 89” and the shipment was timely and safely loaded onto the vessel as scheduled. In consideration the cargo height upto 4.2m, if being transported on deck of trailer it will encounter lots of height obstacles enroute that needs extra operational tasks to overpass and hence, increase risk to cargo, we chose towing which is the safe and economy method.
