Safely Transported Two Oversized Shipments for Power Plant in USA
Vantage Project Team successfully handled two oversized shipments for the Guernsey power plant project in the US.
Due to its oversized size, the cargoes cannot be transported like regular container cargo, Vantage has come up with a solution of transporting in bulk on a container ship.
– Project: Guernsey Power plant – Bureau of Reclamation
– Commodity: steel structure
Shipment 1st:
– Quantity: 4 packages, total volume of 14,683kgs, of which, the longest unit is 17.85mL x 2.4mW x 0.7mH
– Vantage’s scope: trucking from shipper’s factory in Haiphong City to CMIT port (Ba Ria – Vung Tau City), ocean freight from CMIT port to Log Angeles port, USA
– POL: CMIT port, Vietnam
– POD: Los Angeles, USA
– MV: APL SENTOSA
– Shipment time: 05/06 – 12/06/2020
Shipment 2nd:
– Quantity: 4 packages, total volume of 14,683kgs, of which, the longest unit is 16mL x 3mW x 1.05mH
– Vantage’s scope: trucking from Hoang Dieu port (Hai Phong city) to CMIT port (Ba Ria – Vung Tau), ocean freight from CMIT port to Los Angeles port, USA
– POL: CMIT port, Vietnam
– POD: Los Angeles, USA
– MV: CMA CGM LIBRA
– Shipment time: 08/08 -16/08/2020
