Project Logistics Execution for the Block B – O Mon Gas Pipeline

Amid the peak deployment phase of gas and energy infrastructure projects across Viet Nam, the Block B – O Mon Gas Pipeline Project stands out as a key national development with strategic importance for energy security. Vantage Logistics continues to support the project by executing the inland transportation scope, delivering cargo from Ho Chi Minh City Port to the project site. This leg is critical to the overall schedule and requires secure cargo reinforcement, close operational coordination, and tight timeline control to meet the investor’s technical and safety requirements. By closely monitoring vessel schedules and container status upon arrival, and proactively arranging vehicles for immediate cargo pick-up, the delivery process was completed as planned. This approach helped avoid container demurrage and storage charges while keeping total transport costs within the approved budget. Pipeline Equipment Transport: Precision for Pipe Bend & Pup Pieces Transporting pipeline equipment for gas and energy projects goes far beyond moving cargo from port to site. With heavy, long, oversized cargo and strict safety requirements, each shipment demands a dedicated technical plan, disciplined schedule control, and seamless coordination across multiple stakeholders. Key operational factors include: Vehicle selection aligned with cargo weight and dimensions Accurate lashing and securing procedures to minimise movement risks Route and movement planning compatible with infrastructure conditions and traffic windows Close coordination between port operators, transport providers, and the construction site Even minor misalignment in preparation can result in delays or significant cost overruns for the project. Continued involvement in the Block B – O Mon Project allows Vantage Logistics to effectively leverage route data, vehicle configurations, and coordination workflows standardised since November 2024. This enables more realistic transport planning, shorter handling times, and reduced operational adjustments. Logistics as a Critical Element of Energy Project Delivery On-the-ground execution demonstrates that logistics plays a decisive role in maintaining project timelines and operational stability. Controlled handling of each transport detail contributes directly to the steady progress of a nationally significant energy project. Vantage Logistics Completes Delivery of USD 81,599 Textile Yarn Shipment for Manufacturing Project in Long An

Vantage Logistics has successfully completed the transportation of a textile yarn shipment for a manufacturing plant project in Long An, moving cargo from Qingdao Port, China to Viet Nam and delivering it to the project site in line with the project’s required schedule. Throughout the operation, the Vantage Logistics team closely monitored the shipment schedule and proactively adjusted handling plans to help minimise potential cost exposure for the customer. Schedule Pressure from the Project Site The construction timeline allowed little room for delay. Any disruption during customs clearance or inland transportation could have affected downstream work packages and led to additional costs. With this in mind, as soon as the cargo arrived at Ho Chi Minh City port, Vantage Logistics deployed two workstreams in parallel: completing customs documentation while preparing inland transport resources. Leveraging hands-on experience in customs clearance and a dedicated road transport network, the shipment was cleared promptly and released from the port without unnecessary dwell time. End-to-End Coordination from Port to Site During inland delivery, Vantage Logistics acted as the central coordinator between port operators, transport partners and the receiving team at the Long An project site. Delivery schedules were adjusted flexibly based on actual port conditions and site readiness, enabling the client to plan manpower and site operations more effectively while reducing the risk of additional handling costs. Successfully Shipping DG Shipment For Solar Power Projects In The US

– Commodity: equipment (Cube Gen6 – DG goods) & accessories – Volume: 211×40’HC for DG + 5×40’HC for Non-DG – Weight: 27.3 tons/cont. – Vantage’s scope: port charge, delivery coordination – Shipment time: 20 – 30/11/2021 Because most of the containers are DG goods (with batteries), it is required to monitor the shipper’s packing and delivery schedule carefully and closely so that the port can prepare a suitable plan for loading and storing containers. One thing worth noting about this shipment is that although the goods are loaded in containers, they are transported by break bulk. This leads to a difficult situation in coordination because shippers, transportation services and port of discharge are all specialized in container transportation and lack of bulk vessel expertise, while ship owners and ship agents are well served in the bulk services but lack of expertise in container goods. The application of bulk ship knowledge combined with the container handling process is a challenge that the Vantage Project staff has done very well to act as a focal point to share and guide two opposing fields so that they can shake hands to connect and complete the shipment to load on board on schedule, without any problems.   In addition, shippers, consignees and related parties in the US, Germany, and Vietnam with different time zones lead to difficulties in communication and information exchange, moreover, goods exported to the US need to declare many types of documents. However, with the role of project coordinator, Vantage has coordinated well with the parties to complete the delivery schedule and documents to keep up with the ship schedule, helping the customer achieve the required progress on the project implementation time. Successfully Shipping DG Shipment For Solar Power Projects In The US Vantage has just completed a project to transport a shipment of more than 200 containers by break bulk vessel with the role of coordinator for a solar power project in the US....

Vantage Successfully Transported Two OOG Shipments For Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Railway Bridge Construction Project

The dual-gauge, double-track Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Railway Bridge over the Jamuna River with 4.8km-long will improve rail capacity between the capital and the country’s northwestern regions, is expected to be the largest dedicated rail bridge in the country. The $1.98bn project is slated for completion by 2025. Detail of the two shipments: – Commodity: Steel pipe sheet pile + accessories – Service providing: loading on board and sea transportation by Break Bulk (fully loaded) to destination port in Bangladesh. A. Shipment 1: – Volume: 267 steel pipes and 13 packages of accessories, in which the longest pipe is up to 26.7m – Total gross weight: 23,000CMB, vessel capacity of 14,000dwt (fully loaded) – Project time: 03/10/2021 B. Shipment 2: – Volume: 323 steel pipes and 14 packages of accessories, of which the longest pipe is up to 26.7m – Total gross weight: 27,000CMB, vessel capacity of 17,800dwt (fully loaded) – Shipment time: October 27, 2021 In the role of ship owner, Vantage Logistics has completed the cargo handling process, detailed loading diagram for both shipments in a very short time to meet the project timeline as required by the customer. At the same time, because of the various sizes and shapes of steel pipes (from 12.5m to 26.7m; types A1, A2, B, C, D1, D2), Vantage’s team of specialized engineers had to plan the loading diagrams very meticulously and with high accuracy for the related units to coordinate accordingly, which also increased the difficulty in the project implementation process. Another difficulty that cannot be ignored is that both shipments were handled during the complicated situation of the Covid epidemic, so that the project management team from Vantage had to direct remotely, this requires close coordination with the port supervisor to ensure the safe and smooth completion of loading on board. Particularly for the second shipment, because the goods are located in two different yards (1 in the yard at SITC port, the other in 3km from the port), so Vantage Logistics’s team of supervisors and engineers must coordinate intelligently, closely connected to each other to ensure the order of picking up goods at the right yard and loading on the ship as planned. Being able to mobilize 2 Break Bulk ships in a short period of time to promptly serve customers’ needs and ensure the goods be transported safely and on schedule of customers’ projects is the result of the efforts of the entire staff of Vantage Project, as well as proving the capacity of Vantage Logistics in the field of project cargo transportation, especially during the period that be huge impacted by the Covid epidemic as present. Vantage Successfully Transported Two OOG Shipments For Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Railway Bridge Construction Project Vantage Project continues to demonstrate its expertise and experience in the field of project cargo transportation, especially OOG cargo when successfully transporting two oversized shipments for the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib railway bridge construction project in Bangladesh....

Vantage Successfully Handled An Oversized Mechanical Equipment Shipment For KPO Kazakhstan Project

In this project, Vantage Logistics is responsible for inland trucking, port charge and loading attendance. Accordingly, Vantage Logistics will receive goods from the seller’s factory and deliver directly to the wharf at SITV port (Saigon International Port Vietnam) to save costs instead of unloading at the yard in the port (indirect delivery). As expected, the vessel will dock on October 21-22, so the pick-up plan is fixed on October 21. However, on the afternoon of Sunday, October 17, Vantage received a NOA from the agent that the vessel will dock on the morning of October 18 and request to load the shipment in charge by Vantage on board firstly (on the afternoon of October 18). Because of the sudden change in the delivery plan, Vantage Project team tried to race against time to adjust the plan, arrange with the factory, mobilize the means of transportation and personnel in charge to ensure timely delivery according to the new schedule. With the efforts of Vantage Project team, on the evening of October 18, all 14 packages of this shipment were safely and promptly delivered to the ship. Vantage Successfully Handled An Oversized Mechanical Equipment Shipment For KPO Kazakhstan Project The shipment includes 14 packages of oversized mechanical equipment with a total gross weight of 34,256 tons, of which the largest package has dimensions up to 14.45m x 4.32m x 4.38....

Vantage Successful Handled A Super Huge Shipment For Adani Wind Power Project

Overall about the Project: This is considered as wind power ‘peak season’ as investors accelerate the progress of wind power projects in order to connect to national electric grid in October to enjoy the preferential purchase price in November 2021; so the handling the movement of outsize project cargo to support this sector there is a lack of experienced personnel locally available, as well as a lack of appropriate means of transport for heavy and outsize freight and a shortage of the large cranes needed for loading and unloading. To add to these challenges, the port of discharge of the shipment was jammed with cargo for other wind power projects. Given that Vantage’s customer had set a deadline of just a month for the cargo to reach its destination, there were plenty of challenges for the forwarder’s team to overcome. This project included eight turbines and its accessories, of which, each turbine set included the turbine head (or nacelle), various tower sections, tower base, blades and various other large and heavy parts. The cargo represented a total volume of 4,295.8 tons; the heaviest individual pieces (the nacelles) weighed in at 98.8 tons and measured a formidable 9.8m by 4.2m by 4m, the longest individual pieces (the blade) is 68.646m; The turbines will support Adani Green Energy’s huge wind power project in central Vietnam. Vantage’s Scope of works: Vantage undertook the master list application, Customs clearance, the preparation of storage areas as required at the job site, the movement of the turbines by truck to their destination and crane operation for loading and discharging as required. – Consulting with authorities at the port of discharge to minimize the effects of the congestion at the port – Constructing temporary yards to store goods near the job site, in order to save time and transportation costs – Liaising with the appropriate Vietnamese Customs Department on Customs clearance and post-inspection – Putting in place the appropriate resources such as transport equipment, lifting and unloading equipment and cranes A total of 92 truck journeys were required to haul the turbines from Cam Ranh city to the job site at Ninh Thuan province. A combination of multi-axle low-bed trailers were employed to move the equipment, such as: – 4/6/8 axels low-bed trailers to transport hubs and towers – 12 axels low-bed trailers to transport machine heads – 52m extendable trailers to transport blades – Flat bed / 3 axels low-bed trailers to transport other pieces Because of the weight and size of the loads, Vantage had to apply for specific permissions from the relevant local authorities. It also had to undertake road surveys, strengthen patches of road and relocate electricity pylons, lights, road signs and even house fences in order for the trucks to safely negotiate the route. This project brings together experienced and professional personnel for the job, including construction engineers, transportation engineers, project managers at construction sites and ports, vehicle dispatchers and health and safety managers; as well as ensure HSE for all participants such as Covid test 3 3days/time, tool box meeting before every transportation journey. The project was handled between May and June this year, with all the cargo arriving safely as scheduled. This job represented the first time that Vantage had been chosen as a subcontractor by Adani, and the customer was delighted with Vantage Project’s performance. Indeed, Adani has confirmed in the project completion certificate that, “The subcontract works performed by Vantage Logistics Corporation have been done [to] high standards of professionalism, quality and dedication which met our very tight delivery schedule.” Vantage Successful Handled A Super Huge Shipment For Adani Wind Power Project It recently handled the overland movement of eight GE 3.4MW wind turbines from the port of Cam Ranh in Vietnam’s Khanh Hoa province to a job site in Ninh Thuan province....

Successful Transportation of 3 Shipments For Pensacola Wind Power Project

1st Shipment: – Volume: 20 crates, gross weight 9.5 tons/crate, total weight 190 tons, dimension 2.82mL x 2.82mL x 1.3mL/crate – Shipment time: 31th May 2021 to 3 June 2021 The highlighted point of this shipment is that the crates were originally made for forklift handling and not for any crane handling, but the ship loading request to be done by crane and this discrepancy was only raised just very close to vessel arrival date. In order to keep up with vessel schedule (which is very hard to secure space during this period of time and a delay or cancel may mean that an amount of deadfreight must be paid and shipment can be delay for several weeks), the factory did not have enough time to re-pack, Vantage’s technical staff coordinated with the factory to urgently work out the solution to enforce the package with L-steel bar and involve beams and frame in crane loading, to ensure safety of cargo. The shipment was safely loaded matched with schedule. Work out the solution to enforce the package with L-steel bar and involve beams and frame in crane loading, to ensure safety of cargo 2nd Shipment: – Volume: 30 crates, gross weight 9.5 tons/crate, total weight 285 tons, dimension 2.82mL x 2.82mL x – Shipment time: 12 – 15 June 2021 3rd Shipment: – Volume: 30 crates, gross weight 9.5 tons/crate, total weight 285 tons, dimension 2.82mL x 2.82mL x – Shipment time: 14 – 16 June 2021 For shipment 2 & 3, Vantage continues to apply the same solution for package enforcement and loading method. However, the Covid spread situation became serious, the factory imposed strict HSE control, our drivers had to stay in truck during the whole time truck pick up cargo. Besides, the tarpaulin wrapping must be done inside factory only with limit entrance and exit of equipment and workers. Vantage matched all the strict control and do not let these limits to affect the loading schedule. In addition, the mobilization of vehicles for inland transport for both shipments with the number of up to 16 units is a difficult mission because of the scarcity of vehicles in this period, of which, 4-axle vehicle transporting 4 crates/vehicle, 3-axle vehicle transporting 3 crates/vehicle, Vantage has used its resources to ensure enough vehicles and deliver these goods as scheduled. Successful Transportation of 3 Shipments For Pensacola Wind Power ProjectVantage Project has just successful transported 3 shipments for the wind power project in America. – Project: Pensacola Wind Power Project – Commodity: equipment (pitch o-bearing ring) – Vantage’s Scope: tarpaulin wrap, pick up, loading attendance....

Vantage Successfully Handled The Super Heavy-lift Cargoes For Long Son Petrochemical Complex Project To Welcome 2021.

1. International freight: This is super heavy-lift cargo so it is necessary to have a specialized heavy-duty vessel with at least 2 cranes with a capacity of min 500MT/ crane for safe handling. This type of vessel is not very popular in Southeast Asia, especially during the period of serious economic decline due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, due to the limitation of the channel draft at port of discharge as well as the security of the specific inland waterways in this area, the transport vessel is not only having to meet the higher security demand than common commercial ships but also still need to calculate on how to safely carry the goods but still have to maintain a limited draft to enter the channel. Facing this challenge, Vantage Project team had to evaluate and track the schedules of most of the fleets of shipping lines specializing in the transportation of supermassive cargo in the region over a long period of time. At the time we need to fix the vessel, most of the suitable vessels are in Europe and the US, therefore, need a rather long ballast trip back to loading port (more or less 30 days). After 2 weeks of searching and negotiating efforts, the Vantage Project team has successfully arranged a vessel that fully satisfies the above factors. With the shortest mobilizing route (only 20 days) to the loading port to transport to Vietnam, Vantage has helped customers to save a significant amount of ballast mobilization, as well as shorten waiting time for ships, ensuring the project progress as planned. 2. Customs clearance: With the advantage of being a customs agent, the customs procedures of these shipments have been professionally qualified by Vantage specialists, who understand the applicable law and are skilled in customs clearing before the date of arrival, helping the pick-up at the discharge port went smoothly, receiving high satisfaction from the local Customs Department as well as investors and customers. 3. Domestic transportation: Bearing in mind the importance of the safety and accuracy of the project, the Vantage Project team always sets safety at the highest level in all preparations and throughout the implementation period. Vantage Project team participates in meetings to present their options to stakeholders The transport equipment used is a specialized equipment type consisting of 48 SPMT hydraulic axles in coupling combination for large cargo (units 630 tons + 320 tons) and 14 hydraulic SPT axles for smaller cargo (2 units of 155 tons) are customized for each individual unit, strictly follow the method statement set up by Vantage’s engineering team. This requires very high coordination and minute-accurate to ensure the delivery schedule to release the vessel early but still meet safety criteria during transport and unloading at the job site. Check and test the ground load on the route, measure the slope and calculate the pull/push/compression/tension for each package during transportation. Understanding this important criterion, Vantage has organized a team of professional personnel including 7 groups of independent professional activities but closely interacting and working include: 1- Safety management team (HSE team) 2- Technical team (Engineer) 3- Logistics team (Operation) 4- Customs broker 5- Team operating equipment (Driver + Signal man) 6- Supervisor & Support Team 7- Project Manager Therefore, for each package, though requires different precision and closely related to each other in order of delivery, as well as time and space are limited, still handled well by Vantage’s project team beyond expectation. 10 axle hydraulic trailers were used to transport normal cargoes to the job-site in order to ensure the project planned schedule. The successful handling of this shipment is not only improving the service quality of Vantage in terms of profession but also demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and good coordination among members of Vantage’s Project team in particular, and the whole company in general. This shows that in addition to safety compliance and high expertise, the rigor and project management capabilities of Vantage are one of the crucial criteria for successful handling the shipment exceeded customer progress. The completion of the first shipment in the new year 2021 brings us not only pride but also encourages us to dedicate and contribute more and more success to customers. Vantage Successfully Handled The Super Heavy-lift Cargoes For Long Son Petrochemical Complex Project To Welcome 2021. Vantage’s 2021 began with a proudly milestone when we have successfully provided the integrated logistics services including international freight, customs clearance, domestic transportation (discharge at port, transport delivered to the job-site, and discharge at job-site) for super heavy-lift cargoes, which are considered the heart of Long Son Petrochemical Complex. The Long Son Petrochemical Complex project in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province is considered a key project in concretizing the policy of the strategic orientation of the development of the Vietnam Oil and Gas industry to 2025, with a vision to 2035, to step up the petrochemical refining industry, for domestic service and for export. With a total investment value of up to 5.4 billion USD, is expected to contribute 60 million USD / year to the national budget during 30 years of operation. Due to the importance and significance of the project, it is a must that all the contracted contractors/vendors/service providers to commit the safety time frame, the implementation plan must be the most optimal, applying scientifically modern technology and equipment during project construction to ensure absolute safe operation. Being selected as the logistics contractor to provide logistics services for the super heavy-lift cargoes of the Long Son Petrochemical project is both an opportunity and a great challenge for Vantage’s Project team. The shipment consists of 4 super-weighted packages with the weight of 630 tons, 320 tons, and 2 packages of 156 tons, together with many pieces of equipment of different sizes, of which the largest size has a length up to 50.86m. In order to ensure the successful and timely implementation of this project, during a month, a team of transport engineers with more than 10 years of experience in the heavy-lift cargo transport profession, combined with the project managers with over 17 years of experience, have been working hard with more than 1,200 hours of preparation, along with more than 500 hours of enthusiastic work of each project staff....
