Transit Incident at Hong Kong Port: During the transit, the cargo’s HS code and description contained the term “aircraft”, which raised concerns with Hong Kong Customs about the cargo potentially being classified as strategic commodities. According to Hong Kong regulations, if a shipment is misclassified under sensitive or military-related categories, it may be automatically denied entry at the transshipment port, posing a risk of delay for the entire project. Urgent Multi-Time-Zone Coordination: Vantage received a warning only two days before the vessel’s arrival in Hong Kong.
